Spring mattresses, also known as innerspring mattresses, are beds that have an underlying support layer made up of metal springs. To add to the comfort, they contain layers of softer plush materials.Springs form an excellent support layer and hence, they work well for people who need more support or like a more bouncy feel. A spring bed's feel depends on a number of factors. Number of coils being one of them. However, a larger coil count doesn't necessarily imply a higher quality.
